TLC Prayer Group

Do you want to share your prayer requests and help pray for others? Join our TLC Prayer Group! You can sign up by registering signing up HERE or going to the Church Center App under Groups and clicking “other groups” and then “request to join.” We would love to have you join us as we pray! We Need YOU in Children’s Ministry!

Do you have a heart for kids? Our Children’s Ministry is looking for volunteers to help in ALL of our classrooms! Whether it’s rocking babies in the Nursery, guiding preschoolers, or helping with our elementary-age kids, we need both teachers and helpers.

If you’re interested in making a difference in these young lives, we would love to have you on the team!

Celebrate Graduation Sunday with Us!

Join us on Sunday, May 18th, during service as we honor and pray over our high school seniors as they enter the next chapter of their lives.

VBS Decoration Days

VBS Decoration Days Are Here!
Join us as we bring this year’s VBS to life—one glittery, gluey masterpiece at a time!

What We’re Doing:
We’ll be constructing set pieces and decorations for our upcoming Vacation Bible School. Whether you’re a DIY pro or just handy with a glue stick, everyone is welcome—no crafting skills needed!

Join the Outreach Team in Making a Difference at Lightshine Community Center!

Date: Monday, July 14, 2025
Time: 4:45 pm – 7:30 pm ️

What: We will be preparing, providing, and serving a heartwarming meal to approximately 75 people from our community. Additionally, we are seeking volunteers who can spend some time sitting and interacting with the guests while they enjoy their meal.

Where: Lightshine Community Center 4359 E. Bauman Ln. Batavia, OH 45103 (It’s not at The Crossing. It’s the red brick building to the right of the church.)

Come be a part of this wonderful initiative and make a positive impact in the lives of those in need. Your time and dedication can truly make a difference.

True North VBS @ TLC

Guide kids on the ultimate Alaskan adventure where northern lights glow over majestic mountains, racing rivers, and glistening glaciers. As kids trek the tundra, they’ll explore how easy it is to lose sight of what’s true in our wild world today. Pointing them toward Jesus, True North VBS shows them that he is a faithful friend we can always trust. He’s our True North!

During this thrilling journey, kids will:

Join Us for Trunk or Treat and Fun!

Walk through the line and Trunk or Treat to get some goodies on Saturday, October 18th! Trunks must be set up and ready to pass out candy starting at 5:45 PM. We’ve got a fun lineup of activities for everyone to enjoy beginning at 6 PM

Music: Groove to the Halloween beats as you wander through our festive event provided by DJ Jim Humphrey.

Hayrides (Weather Permitting): Take a ride through the autumn night, surrounded by crisp fall air.

Bonfire at Dark (Weather Permitting): Gather around for a cozy bonfire as the night gets darker. **BYO camping chairs and bug spray

Sign Up to decorate your trunk today! Set up begins at 4:30 PM. Trunks need to be ready by 5:45. **This sign up is ONLY for those who want to set up a trunk.**

Thanksgiving in a Bag

This Thanksgiving, let’s come together to bless families in our community who need a little extra help. In partnership with families from the Williamsburg and Western Brown school systems, we’re extending this outreach to others locally who may be in need.

How You Can Help:

Adopt a Family: Sign up by November 2nd to provide a Thanksgiving meal for a family in need.
Choose how you’d like to assist during the registration process.
Nominate someone in need through our online registration or by writing their name on a Connect Card and dropping it in the box.

Spots Are Limited!
We’re helping up to 30 families, so don’t wait to get involved.
